Jay Bruce has not had such a hot bat in the last few games. But the first pitch he saw he swung at and hit it to the right side for a 2 run homerun to score Nix. Out of the 7 hits Cincinnati had in the game Jay Bruce was responsable for two of them. Jay Bruce hit a HR and a two-bagger. Jay got his 15th HR of the season and leads the team in homeruns. Without Jay the Reds could not pull off the win.
