Reds in game 3 of the series had Micah Owings on the hill (3-7) looking to get the brooms out in Washington. In the top of the 2nd Rosales singles to score Gonzalez, it's 1-0 Cincinnati. Top of the 4th inning A-Gonz hit an RBI to left to score Johnny Gomes. The score was now 2-0 Cincinnati, unfortunately for the Redlegs that's all they would get. A gronder was hit to Jerry Hairston Jr. that got the force out at third as the run scores to make it 2-1 Cincinnati. Later on in the bottom of the 8th, the Nationals get it done with 2 rins to make it 3-2 Washington on top. The runs were scored by a throwing error by Reds secondbaseman, Brandon Phillips. Reds could not get any runs in the 9th as it was a 1,2,3 inning. So the Washington Nationals win the game 3-2. The winner is Tavarez The loser is Danial Ray Herrera.
