The Alabama Crimson Tide tear into Kentucky 38-20 in Commonwealth Stadium in what looked to be a very close game the majority of the 1st half. The scoring all started when Mark Ingram rushed for an 11-yard TD with 14:03 left in the 1st Qtr. The PAT was good for Leigh Tiffin. 7-0 Alabama. Lones Seiber for UK kicked a career long 49-yard FG with 6:32 left in the 1st Qtr. 7-3 Bama. Right before the 1st Qtr ended, Seiber kicked another 49-yard FG. 7-6 Alabama lead. With 0:40 left in the 1st half, Greg McElroy connected with Collin Peek for a 3-yard TD. Leigh Tiffin's extra point was good and the Crimson Tide take a 14-6 lead. Derrick Locke fumbled the ball with 0:21 seconds to go in the 2nd Qtr and it was recovered by Courtney Upshaw for a 45-yard TD. Alabama is leading 21-6. Mark Ingram rushed for a 32-yard TD with 13:43 left in the 3rd Qtr. PAT was good for Tiffin. 28-6 Alabama. Leigh Tiffin kicked a 36-yard FG with 10:18 left and Alabama has increased their lead to 31-6. Mike Hartline threw a 45-yard TD to Randall Cobb with 9:36 left in the 3rd Qtr. PAT was good for Lones Seiber. Alabama leads by 14. With 3:45 left in the 3rd Qtr, Greg McElroy throws a 7-yard TD to Darius Hanks. PAT was good. Crimson Tide leads 38-13. Kentucky scores another TD with 12:52 left in the 4th Qtr when Alfonso Smith rushed for a 2-yard TD. PAT was good for Lones Seiber and Alabama wins the game 38-20.
