The Cincinnati Bengals were mourning a loss of defensive coordinator, Mike Zimmer's wife Vikki, and were trying to get a W for Vikki. They were able to do so, in clutch fashion, like always. Cincinnati won 17-14, here's how.
Baltimore started things out looking great, when Carson Palmer threw a pick to Ed Reed, he took it back 52 yards for the pick 6 and Baltimore had the lead 7-0. Then Shayne Graham kicked a 32-yard field goal to make it a 1 score game, 3-7 Ravens on top, that was the score going into the 3rd quarter. It was Cincy who started things out in the 3rd, when Cedric Benson ran for a 28-yard touchdown, and the Bengals had the lead 10-7. Benson could have lost about 3 yards on the play, but instead got 28, and a touchdown on the side. Baltimore wanted the lead back, and they got it on a Ray Rice reception from Flacco to give the Ravens a 14-10 lead, that was the score going into the 4th quarter. The Bengals were trying to put together another game winning, epic, nail biting final drive, but 1 yard stood in their was, it was 4th down and 1. Palmer got the snap, and ran for a first down, the game was still alive, still hope. Later on Palmer threw it to Chad Ochocinco, and it was incomplete which would have brought up 4th and long, but there was pass interference, so a new set of downs, the game was still alive. Palmer was back to pass, threw a bullet to Andre Caldwell, and it was caught for 6, wide open #87! The Bengals had the lead 17-14. On the final drive Flacco threw a hail mary, it was picked off by Leon Hall and that sealed the win, Bengals are now 4-1 and 1st place in the AFC North.
