By: Cooper LedfordThe Cincinnati Bearcats, who were 19-6, and 6-6 in the Big East, were hosting the #16 Louisville Cardinals, who were 19-6, and 8-4 in the Big East. UC was looking for a big win, an upset win, and that they got, as they beat UofL, 63-54.
Only two Bearcats were in double-figures, as it was Wright, who had 20 points, and Kilpatrick, who had 18. But, it was enough to get the job done.
Jennings and Knowles were the only Cardinals in double-figures, Jennings had 12, and Knowles had 11. So, not many Cardinals with all that impressive stats in this one.
This is a big win for the Bearcats, as it well help their tournament resume, and gets them to 20 wins.
Next, the Bearcats of UC will be on the road, as they will go to take on Providence. That game will be Saturday at 7 PM ET, and on ESPNU.
