The Reds were trying to complete the sweep of the Padres tonight, and at first it looked like they would do so, as they were up by 2. But what goes up, must come down, and the Padres eventually tied the game thanks to Chapman and Masset. Then Dusty Baker made a very dumb choice, he kept Masset in to pitch in the 9th. The bases were loaded, 2 outs, and Orlando Hudson hit a walkoff single, 3-2 the final. Nick Masset is now 0-3, that means he is responsible for 3 of the 4 Reds loses. Thanks Nick. But the Reds do win the series, they are 8-4, and will be off tomorrow, then host Pittsburgh on Saturday at 7:10 PM ET on FS Ohio.
