The Cincinnati Bengals' head coach, Marvin Lewis was named to 2009 NFL Coach of the Year. Marvin Lewis coached last year, going 4-11-1, and in the 2009 season turned the whole team around going 10-7.
Marvin Lewis and the Bengals had to deal with a lot this year, the death of Vikki Zimmer and Chris Henry was one of those. Despite deaths in the Bengals family, Cincinnati was able to get their first winning season since 2005.
Lewis has coached 16 years in the NFL, he has been with the Bengals since Jan. 14, 2003. Lewis is 46-50-1 as a HC for the Bengals.
