Three Cincinnati Reds were selected to this year's Major League Baseball All-Star game. Brandon Phillips, Arthur Rhodes, and Scott Rolen will all be representing the Reds in Anaheim for this year's All-Star game. Rhodes at age 40 will be going to his first all-star game as well as Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips. This will be Scott Rolen's 6th time being selected to the All-Star game. He made the All-Star team every year from 2002-2006 while with the St. Louis Cardinals. The only season with St. Louis he did not go to the All-Star game was in 2007, his final year with the Cardinals. There is a chance Joey Votto still makes the all-star team this year. The last time the Reds had this many players represent the organization at the All-Star game was in 2004 when Sean Casey, Barry Larkin, Danny Graves, and Ken Griffey Jr. were all selected.
