Basketball Starts TODAY!

3 of the 4 SWO Sports teams start their regular seasons today, that being #2 Kentucky, #3 Ohio State, and #15 Xavier.  That's right, all 3 of those teams are ranked, the 4th team being Cincinnati, who are ranked 25th.

Here are my thoughts of all 4 teams 1st games, along with final score predictions.

Kentucky vs. Marist (7 PM ET-FS SOUTH). 
Okay, most of you have never even heard of Marist College, well I hadn't either.  But, wikipedia just told me that it is a small university located on the east bank of the Hudson River near Poughkeepsie, NY.  And we have all heard of Kentucky.  This is like David vs. Goliath.  Kentucky should absolutly destroy them.  
FINAL SCORE PREDICTION:
KENTUCKY: 90  MARIST: 51


Ohio State vs. Wright State (9 PM ET-BIG TEN NETWORK).
This should be a very good game for Ohio State.  Wright State is no cupcake team by any means, they are a decent team, but not nearly close to the kind of team the Buckeyes are.  Expect Jared Sullinger to have a good game, he is said to be the best player in the nation, he wants to go out there and prove it.

OHIO STATE: 85  WRIGHT STATE: 69


Xavier vs. Morgan State (7 PM ET-FS OHIO)
Wanna know where Morgan State University is?  Well it is in Baltimore.  They are a decent team, but not nearly as good as Xavier.  Tu Holloway will sit out this game, after being suspended for this game only by the NCAA.  That shouldn't matter at all.  X has the guys to pick him up, such as Mark Lyons, Kenny Frease, and  Freshman, Dez Wells.
FINAL SCORE PREDICTION:
XAVIER: 80  MORGAN STATE: 64


Cincinnati vs. Alabama State (SUNDAY, 7 PM ET-FS OHIO).
Yancy Gates and the Bearcats are coming off a great season a year ago, this season could be even better. They have a lot of talent and should be able to take down Bama State fairly easily.  That's all I need to say.
