The Ohio State Buckeyes (27-7, 14-4) were playing the Minnesota Golden Gophers (21-13, 9-9) in the Big Ten Championship game. OSU was coming off of a win over Illinois in two overtimes, while Minnesota was coming off of a nice win over Purdue. Ohio State ended up winning it in a big blow out, 90-61.
It was only a three point lead for the Bucks at the half, but in the second half, OSU started playing too good for the Gophers.
Evan Turner had 31 points, for the second game in-a-row, he also had 11 rebounds, and six assist. David Lighty put on a show with 20 points, seven rebounds, and five assist.
Jon Diebler posted 19 points, and was 5-for-11 on three point attempts. William Buford added 13 points and was 5-for-8 from the field.
Ohio State will either be a #2 seed, but could be a #1 seed, we will have to wait and see.
Congratulations to the Ohio State Buckeyes, good luck in the NCAA Tournament.
