UK pulled out a huge 75-74 victory over the Mississippi State Bulldogs in OT to win the 26th SEC Tournament title in school history. Down by 3 late in the 2nd Half, Eric Bledsoe knocked down a crucial free throw and perfectly executed a missed free throw attempt to get a Kentucky rebound by John Wall. Wall missed the 3-point attempt but DeMarcus Cousins came in scooped up the rebound, and layed the ball up at the last second to send the game into Overtime. In Overtime, to seal the deal, John Wall hit an off-balanced go ahead 3-point basket. DeMarcus Cousins sealed the deal with a crucial free throw right after a missed attempt at the line and the Bulldogs rushed to the other end of the court and Riley Benock launched a three point basket that was good but not enough as they came up short by one point. Kentucky will head into the NCAA Tournament as a #1 seed.
