The Xavier Musketeers (19-7, 10-2) were visiting the Charlotte 49ers (18-8, 8-4), Saturday. This was good win for Xavier, as they are now 12 games over .500.
Jordan Crawford led the way with 23 points, while having an 8-of-15 shooting game, and was 3-of-8 behing the 3-point line. Jamel McLean added 14 points, and had 11 boards.

Xavier took the lead to start the game, with a three from Terrell Holloway, but the 49ers then went on a 10-4 run, and the first half was for the most part, close, but then late in the first, Xavier took a 31-22 lead at the half.
In the second half, Xavier kept the tempo, and not much into the second, XU had a 41-29 lead, and the Muskies never looked back, and won, 81-67.
Next, the Musketeers will continue the road trip, and take on a tough St. Louis team. The game is on Wednesday, at 8:00 PM ET and the game will be televised on Fox Sports Ohio.
