In front of 24,672 rain-drenched fans, the Reds were trying to complete the sweep of their foes, the St. Louis Cardinals. Well, they got it, but barley, 9-7 the final, here is how.
Travis Wood gets the win, as he went 6 innings, giving up 2 runs, which were two home runs, on 7 hits, walked one and fanned 3. T-Wood is now 3-3 on the year.

Another point of interest in this game was the Reds debut of Jose Arredondo. Jose pitched in the 7th inning, and had a 1-2-3, 12 pitch inning. Looked good.
Tomorrow the Reds will play host to another enemy of theirs, the Chicago Cubs. This will be the 1st of 2 games. Homer Bailey (2-0, 0.69 ERA) will take the hill for Cincinnati while Carlos Zambrano (4-1, 5.35 ERA) will pitch for the North-Siders.
