The Cincinnati Bearcats were 2-3 going into this game, Friday the 15th, and were starting Big East play. They were in Louisville, KY taking on the Cardinals. UC came out on top, 35-27, and have won 14 strait Big East games. Here is how it all happened.
In the 1st quarter with 12:42 to go, Zach Collaros connected with DJ Woods for a 47 yard touchdown score, 7-0 Bearcats on top.
L'ville would tie it up 6 minutes later, when Froman found Chichester for an 11 yard touchdown score, 7-7 the score.
Cincinnati would answer back with 2:25 to go in the 1st with a touchdown pass from Collaros to Armon Binns, a 10 yard score, 14-7 the score.
But, the Cardinals would tie it up when Powell had an 85 yard touchdown run with 1:20 to go, and at the end of the 1st quarter, it was 14-14.
After a field goal and touchdown run, Louisville had the lead 24-14. But, after a touchdown pass from Collaros to Binns, again, a 31 yard play, UC made the score 24-21 at the half.
The 3rd quarter DJ Woods caught his 2nd touchdown of the night, a 14 yard score, and the Bearcats had the lead 28-24.
In the 4th quarter, Louisville would get a field goal to make it 28-27, but UC would pull out the dagger when Collaros went deep for Binns, the catch was made, and it was a touchdown, 62 yards, 35-27 the final.
Collaros went 18/28, had 275 passing yards, 5 TD's, and 2 picks.
Cincinnati is now 3-3, and will host South Florida next week, that game will be Saturday on ESPN2, and at 8:00 PM ET.
