The Xavier Musketeers basketball team is just about to start exhibition games, which will start on the 3rd of November. After 5 exhibition games and 3 Old Spice Classic games the Muskies will start there 2009-2010 season on the 4th of December where they will host Kent State. So the question is, how will Xavier do this year with Sean Miller being gone and Chris Mack taking his place? Here is what some people that I interviewed said.
"Better, because each time a coach leaves, Xavier keeps getting better. It happened with Thad Matta, it happened with Skip Prosser and it will happen with Sean" -A die hard XU fan whose identity will not be revealed (no it's not me)
"I don't think XU will be as good this year, Sean was amazing and took them (Xavier) to the playoffs every year he was coaching, it will be hard to have a coach better than him." Javier Lopez
"About the same, since Chris Mack was the assistant coach for the Musketeers, he knows the strengths and weaknesses of each and every returning player. I think Mack will adjust to the head coaching spot and be successful with the Muskies in 2009." -Cooper Ledford
