The John Calipari era began with a 74-38 win over Campbellsville University. Darnell Dodson went for a team high 19 points. He also added 6 rebounds while fellow teammate DeMarcus Cousins had 11 points, 6 boards and 4 blocks. Perry Stevenson also had 11 points in just 5 minutes.
