The Cincinnati Christian University Eagles were playing the Taylor Trojans, Tuesday. Trojans coach, Paul Patterson was coaching in his 1,000th game.
Taylor easily beat CCU, 79-59. The Trojans held a 35-30 lead at halftime, but responded with a 16-2 outburst to start the second half, ending any hopes of CCU playing the role of spoiler. After Taylor grabbed that lead, they never looked back.
Taylor's Casey Coons lead the team with 14 points. The Eagles were on 33% on shooting, a big part of their loss.
Cincinnati Christian is now 5-8 and Taylor is 9-6.
Next, CCU will go to Celina, Ohio to take on Wright State Lake on the 5th.
