In game 2 of the series, the San Francisco Giants beat the Cincinnati Reds 3-0. Sam LeCure was on the hill for the Redlegs, while Matt Cain was on the hill for the G-Men. Here is the scoring plays.
It was a scorless game until the 4th when Juan Uribe hit his 9th home run of the season, it was a solo home run, it was 1-0 with San Fran on top. Later on, in the 8th, Nick Masset would give up 2 runs, the first was off of an RBI single by Bengie Molina, it plated Schierholtz it was 2-0. The second run in that inning was off of an RBI single by the pitcher, Matt Cain hit an RBI single to score Buster Posey , it was 3-0 and that is how it finished.
Sam LeCure went 6.0 innings, gave up 5 hits, 1 ER, 4 BB, and 3 K's.
This has nothing to do with the Reds, but congratulations to Stephen Strasburg, as he got a win in his 1st game in the MLB, gave up only 4 hits, 2 ER, NO walks, and 14 yes, 14 STRIKEOUTS! I don't think Aroldis Chapman can do that.
