UK rallies and beats Bama

The No. 2 Kentucky Wildcats (30-2) were playing Alabama (17-15),
Friday in the SEC quarterfinals, 73-67.  UK will now go to the SEC simifinals.

Patrick Patterson scored 20 and Eric Bledsoe 10 for Kentucky. DeMarcus Cousins, who had 18 double-doubles this season averaging 15.6 points and 10 rebounds per game, finished with seven points and eight boards.


For the Tide, Mikhail Torrance led with 20 points. JaMychal Green had 14 and Tony Mitchell 10.

The win gave the 'Cats their 12th 30 win season, the most by any school in NCAA history, and thier first since 2003.  UK is looking for their 26th SEC tournament championship after, after already getting their 44th SEC regular season championship title.

The oppsing team that Kentucky will play tomorrow will be announced, but it will either be #15 Tennessee or Mississippi.
