Reds Sign Edgar Renteria

The Defending NL Central Champion, Cincinnati Reds, have singed the defending World Series MVP, Edgar Renteria, to a 1 year deal worth $3 Million.  This means that Orlando Cabrera, in all likely hood, will not return to the team.

After Renteria said $1 Million was not enough, and was "a lack of respect", he did not return to the Giants after they made an offer, but it looks like 3 million is enough.

Edgar hit .276, had 3 home runs, 22 RBI, and an OBP of .332 in 2010.
