Bucks get second strait big win

By: Cooper Ledford

in OSU's win over Wisconsin.

The Ohio State Buckeyes (13-5, 3-3 Big Ten) were hosting the Wisconsin Badgers (14-4, 4-2 Big Ten), Saturday night. OSU was not ranked, while Wisconsin was ranked #13. Ohio State ended up winning 60-51. It is Ohio State's second consecutive big win, the last game, they upset Purdue, now Wisconsin falls to the Buckeyes. Here is some stats.

David Lighty lead the Bucks in scoring with 18 points, while Evan Turner posted 15, but finished with four fouls. William Buford lead in rebounds with 12. The Buckeyes now have a 2 game winning streak.

For Wisconsin, Trevon Hughes had 18 points, while Jason Bohannon had 10. A big reason why Wisconsin did so poorly is the offense, they were unable to put up points like they would have liked. A reason why the offense was so bad was because the second-leading scorer and rebounder, Jon Leuer was out because of a fracture wrist.

Next, the Buckeyes will host Northwestern. The game is on Tuesday, the 19th. The game is at 7:00 PM ET and will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
