OSU upsets #6 Purdue.

The Ohio State Buckeyes (12-5) were visiting the Purdue Boilermakers (14-2). Purdue was ranked No. 6 in the nation, while OSU was not ranked.

To start things off, Purdue had an early 13-9 lead, but after that the Buckeyes went on a 9-0 run. Ohio State ended up winning, 70-66. Ohio State gets back on track and wins after losing to Minnesota, while Purdue has now lost two strait games (started 14-0).

Evan Turner had a great night, with 32 points, yes, 32, 23 of which were in the second half. Late in the game, OSU was down by 13, but Evan Turner and the rest of the Bucks were able to overcome that deficit. Turner had 14 of the last 18 points by the Buckeyes.


William Buford posted 19 points, with seven rebounds.

For Purdue, Robbie Hummel had 32 points, he also tied the school record with eight 3-pointers and had 10 rebounds.

E'Twaun Moore added 19 points for the Boilermakers.

Next, the Bucks return home where they will play Wisconsin. The game will be on Saturday, at 8:00 pm ET, the game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
