Buckeyes rebound from upset.

By: Cooper Ledford SWO SPORTS FOUNDER & CEO

The Ohio State Buckeyes were trying to get their confidence back after being upset by Purdue last week. The Buckeyes were easily able to get it all back after beating Minnesota 38-7. Here is how all the scores took place.

After a scorless 1st quarter, OSU wanted to get the first lead of the day, so Terrelle Pryor went deep to find DeVier Posey for a 62 yard passing touchdown, Pryor's longest pass this season, OSU had the lead 7-0. That was the score going into the half. Ohio State would add on to their lead when Terrelle Pryor ran to the house, that was 15 yards away for a touchdown, 14-0 Bucks on top. Ohio State was not done in the 3rd quarter, Jordan Hall ran it in for an 11 yard rushing touchdown, it was 21-0 the Men of the Scarlet and Grey on top. OSU was still not done in that quarter when TP connected to Posey for another touchdown, Posey's 2nd of the game and OSU was now in full control, 28-0. Into the 4th quarter, just 4 minutes in, the hand-off went to their 4th string tail back, Jermil Martin and he took it to the endzone, a 39 yard 6 pointer it was now 35-0 after the PAT. Ohio State was looking for more than 35 points, so they called out Aaron Pettrey to kick a 44 yard field goal, it was good and it was 38-0 OH-IO on top. Missesota wanted to have something to be proud of, and sure as heck did not want to be shut-out so Gray threw it to Troy Stoudermire Jr. for a 16 yard touchdown, it was 38-7 and that was the final. Ohio State improves their record to 6-2 and they are #2 in the Big Ten. Terrelle Pryor went 13-25, 239 passing yards, 3 touchdowns (1 rushing). GO BUCKS!
