By: Pedro Rodriguez

The Bearcats were trying to kepp their hopes of a BCS game alive, and were trying to start their season with a perfect 8-0 record. UC was able to do so after pounding Louisville 41-10. Here is how the scoreing took place.

In the 1st quarter, Pead ran it in for 6 points, it was now 7-0 UC. Later on the the 1st, Armon Binns caught a 24 yard pass from Zach Collaros, and it was 14-0 Bearcats on top. In the 2nd QTR, Isaiah Pead ran it in 15 yards it was 21-0 UC. L'ville would get on the board when Froman found Chichester in the endzone, it was 21-7, Cats still on top. After a field goal from both teams, it was 24-10 in the 3rd, but the Bearcats would get TD's as well. Those TDs were from Mardy Gillyard and Pead, it was 38-10 into the 4th. In the 4th UC would get the only points of the QTR when Jake Rogers kicked a 45 yard field goal it was 41-10, and that is the final.
