The #1Ohio State Buckeyes (6-0, 2-0) are going to Madison, Wisconsin tonight to take on the #18Wisconsin Badgers (5-1, 1-1). 58% of Americans that voted on ESPN.com picked Ohio State to win a remain undefeated. Lee Corso picked Wiscy though, Desmond Howard (who went to Michigan) picked Ohio State, I have to agree with Desmond and the 58% of Americans that say OSU will win. I am not just saying that because I am a huge Buckeye fan. Here are my reasons why:
- Terrelle Pryor- He is 2nd on the Heisman watch list. He is powerful, can run the ball when he needs to, and is a great passer. He is a great quarterback, and it will be tough for the Wisconsin defense to handle Terrelle Pryor.
- Ohio State's defense- The Buckeye defense may be the best in the nation, they have a great rush defense and a very good secondary and pass defense. Even though Scott Tolzien is great, he may not have his way with the Bucks defense. The Wiscy O-line is not all that great, they are good, but the Ohio State defense is a better d-line than UW's o-line is and o-line. I predict that Tolzien will be pressured a lot.
- Brandon Saine- Ohio State's RB, Brandon Saine has not been playing a whole lot in the back field, he has been getting a lot of work as a WR. Jim Tressel says he is his 3rd best WR, behind Sanzenbacher and Posey. Saine is very fast, and knows how to get open. If Brandon gets open, he will be gone. Watch out for Zoom.
So, those are my 3 reasons why the Ohio State Buckeyes will win. My final score prediction is 24-21 in OT. Game time is at 7:00 PM ET and is on ESPN.
