Commandos: 82 Enforcers: 2

QB Tyler Sheehan set a franchise record
in passing yards with 289 in the Commandos
win over Indianapolis, Saturday.

Tyler Sheehan set franchise records with 289 passing yards and eight passing touchdowns as the Cincinnati Commandos (3-0) rolled past the Indianapolis Enforcers (0-3), 82-2, Saturday night at the Cincinnati Gardens.
Sheehan completed 21 of 32 passes to break the records set by Ben Mauk during the Commandos Continental Indoor Football League championship run last season.
Three different receivers caught multiple touchdowns, with Nez Mincy and Brandon Boehm hauling in three scores each and Moe Lee a pair.  Lee led all receivers with six receptions for 108 yards.
Defensively, the Commandos took advantage of eight turnovers and allowed only four yards of offense, holding Indianapolis to minus-61 yards on 12 runs.
The only points allowed by Cincinnati came when Drew Russ recovered a bad snap on a point after attempt and returned it 28 yards for two points.
Dave Wess and Thomas Claggett recovered two fumbles apiece for Cincinnati, with each on scoring on one of their recoveries.  Terrill Byrd also had a fumble recovery.
Jeff Franklin added a third defensive touchdown with a 33-yard interception return.  Fabian Conner and Keith Camp also had interceptions as Cincinnati came away with eight turnovers in all.
The Commandos are off next week and travel to play the Dayton Silverbacks (1-1) April 2 at Hara Arena in Dayton.  Cincinnati will host the Port Huron Predators (2-1) Friday, April 8 at the Cincinnati Gardens at 8:05 p.m.
