Homer Bailey To Start Season On DL

Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher, Homer Bailey, will start the 2011 campaign on the disabled list due to a right shoulder impingement.  


Homer was expected to be in the Reds starting rotation to start the season, or at least the bullpen.  This is the 2nd Reds pitcher that will start the season on the DL, as Homer joins Johnny Cueto.  


So the starting rotation now suddenly is different.  You have Volquez and Arroyo for sure, then Travis Wood, and Mike Leake will most-likely be in the rotation, and the 5th starter will be up for grabs.  Maybe Sam LeCure, Matt Maloney, or someone like that, or it could be D-Train.  But, I think Sam LeCure will be the #5 starter, we'll have to wait and see, come Opening Day.
