What The Games Mean This Weekend

By:  Cooper Ledford

Ohio State vs. Wisconsin (SUN, 4 PM ET, CBS).  This is a very important game for the Buckeyes.  With a win, they could be crowned Big Ten Regular Season Champions, and get something that many Buckeyes fans want. That is revenge on Wisconsin.  This will be no easy win for Ohio State, but they are at home, and Value City Arena is a very tough place to play for a visiting team.  I like OSU in this one.

Xavier @ Saint Louis (SAT, 2 PM ET, CBS COLLEGE).  The Xavier Musketeers have already clinched at least a share of the A-10 Regular Season Title, and can win it outright with a win today.  Xavier has had success against St. Louis, including last season's 73-71 win over SLU.  Saint Louis can play games with good teams, and this is in St. Louis, so it will be tough, but Xavier should win this one.

Cincinnati vs. Georgetown (SAT, 2 PM ET, CINCINNATI CW).  The Bearcats had an impressive win over the Hoyas earlier this season, and that was in Georgetown.  This time, it is in the Queen City.  If UC can beat the Hoyas on their home court, they should be able to handle them at 5/3 Bank Arena.  But, G'Town is a very tough team, they may beat the 'Cats. UC will have to play like they did earlier this season to get a win.

Kentucky @ Tennessee (SUN, NOON ET, CBS).  Kentucky vs. Tennessee, a rivalry game.  The Wildcats beat the Vols earlier this season, but that was at Rupp Arena.  This will be tough for the Wildcats because Knoxville is no easy place to play, and UK has not had success in road games this year.  Let's hope UK blows them out, because they can never find a way to win close games.  Tennessee might just win this game, I would not be surprised if they did.  But, we'll see.
